essay during these two evenings.

Because, as the writer Carol Bly says, "an essay is 3,000% easier to
write than a short story." The essay is a scalable form. Essay writing
can help you:
> access the stories that you want to tell
> learn more about literary structure
> gain the confidence to actually finish every piece you write
> transition your skill to fiction and memoir

You can write any sort of text, or conjure up any sort of image: we'll consider anything and everything as long as it looks good in black and white. (for example: prose, poetry, interview, essay, cartoon, photograph, drawing) .
